Pot Pie Girl, One Week Marketing

This is a handy little product. I think the coolest thing about it are the updates that she sends out on a fairly regular basis. When you purchase One Week Marketing, you will of course agree to go on the list because as things change she will let you know how she is dealing with the change.

Take Squidoo, for example. Squidoo is about to undergo some major changes, and probably have already by the time you read this. She created an entire ebook, outlining what the major changes are, her interpretation of what they mean to Squidoo users, and what she intends to do to keep her business rolling along seamlessly.

This is a good quality ebook, that she probably could have made additional money on if she chose to do so. However, she really wanted to give additional value for purchasers of One Week Marketing.

Now, on to the substance of the book. For the most part, I think the book is well written and easy to follow. In fact, I give it a lot of credit for that. She will lead you through a number of steps that you can use to get your Squidoo lenses ranked on Google in a matter of hours.

The truth is, it did not work for me in a matter of hours. Many of my lenses became ranked but it took a number of days. Some never did end up on Google at all.

Of course, it is difficult to know if it was the technique or just a poor lens.

A Whole New Approach to Google Rank

I discovered something really interesting the other day! I looked up my website on google in quotation marks. The entire URL, http://www.action-innovations.com/ but in the search function not in the address bar. I found that my site came up under some guy's blog who just happened to use one of my articles on ezine articles.com in his blog.

This is fine, that is what ezine articles is for. You are free to use any article, almost any way you wish as long as the "resource box" is intact. The resource box is the box at the bottom of the article that tells the reader where to go for more information.

But the interesting thing was that this guys blog, appeared to be nothing but cut and pasted articles. And he ranked higher for my website than I did!

I always teach that there are three main criteria that if you master these, you will always rank higher on google: Many inbound links, relevant content, and changing content. He clearly had the number 3 on the list covered.

How long would it take to cut and paste an article a day into your blog and your done. What...ten minutes a day to high google rank.?

This is what makes blogging so attractive to internet marketers anyway. Blogger, the last time I checked was ranked number 4 on Alexa rankings, which on its own makes the link that much more valuable, plus the ease of adding a new post.

but to drop that down to 5-10 minutes a day.... that makes it especially viable even for busy working people trying to earn a living on line.

Squidoo Queen

The Squidoo Queen cries out " Squidoo Queen rocks the marketing world by continuing to defy the Guru's by letting conplete beginners learn the secrets that they try to keep buried!"

The only problem with this is that is what they all say. All the marketers will try to tell you that their product will give you the secrets that the other marketers will try to keep hidden.

If they are all giving you the secret then wouldn't there be no secret any more? Well, that aside, I bought this product for myself and I must say that despite the hype, its actually pretty good.

If you are trying to build a squidoo site and having difficulty getting ranked on google, and many of us are, this will help you.

Squidoo Queen 2.1 will give you some excellent tools to improve your squidoo google rank. And as we all know, you are nothing until you are indexed on google.
